Interviewed 5 students in UX and Business majors at MSOE
Conducted their experience using other chatbots for career prep and other career prep approaches
Our initial guerrilla research revealed a significant pain point for MSOE Business and UX students: while chatbots are convenient, they often provide contextually thin or overly generic feedback. Students juggling heavy academic workloads needed a tool that was both time-efficient and highly specific
Olivia is representing a group of MSOE UX & Bus students after our constructive research and feedback that we have collected.
We designed "Raider’s Career" to act as a trustworthy professional mentor, specifically tailored for non-engineering majors. The goal was to provide industry-backed insights with a student-friendly, business-casual tone that makes career planning straightforward.
After developing the prototype, We conducted usability testing to see if the design met the students' need for speed and specificity.
